But this crash is another testimony of the strenght of F1 cars and their Carbon fibre monocoques.
Thanks to John Barnard who invented them in the eighties when he was working for McLaren. and Mr Brundle, a very good commentator for ITV at present, owed his life to this creation by Mr Barnard.
I would say one of the most important inventions in F1 in the last twenty odd years.
And I’m sure Mr Brundle agrees. Just watch in amazement.
