Well… Look at what happened to Kubica at the Canadian F1 Grand Prix when he made a small mistake. He only suffered a mild concussion and a sprained ankle after an absolutely amazing mind boggling crash at almost 300 km/h crash.
He “tagged” Jarno Trulli, went flying into a wall and came to a rest on its side with little more than his cockpit intact. A few minutes of silence followed because he wasn’t moving and it was not clear if he was still alive.
